When sorting tracks, Ask the DJ can use the following criteria to determine how two given tracks match:
Ask the DJ compares the features of the first track's end with those of the second track's beginning. If volume leveling is enabled, it is taken into account when considering volumes.
In the “Track Matching” tab of the preferences window, you can set which criteria must be used or even precisely set their relative importance.
These criteria can also be used to determine whether a transition between two given tracks should be downgraded. Indeed, if tracks don't match, a long transition can be inadequate. The threshold for this decision can also be set in the preferences.
