No Cross-Fade:
if this is selected, no cross-fade
will occur when changing tracks.
Tracks will be played entirely without fading.
Select this if mixing is inappropriate, e.g. when listening to classical music.
1-Beat Cross-Fade:
if this is selected, 1-beat cross-fades
will be performed when changing tracks, i.e.
the last beat of each track will be quickly cross-faded to the first beat of the next track.
Intros and outros
will be skipped.
Smart Cross-Fade:
if this is selected, smart cross-fades
will be performed when changing tracks, i.e.
the tempo will gradually shift while tracks will be cross-faded.
Intros and outros will be
skipped.
Duration:
sets the smart cross-fade duration.
Longer durations are best suited to techno music.
Quality:
sets the smart cross-fade sound processing quality.
Lower quality yields shorter transition calculations,
but causes more audible artifacts during the transition.
This setting affects sound quality, not temporal features of transitions.
Downgrade transition mode when tracks don't match:
If this box is checked, then whenever tracks don't match according to the criteria
defined in the “Track Matching” tab,
no smart cross-fade will be performed
(the “Alternate Transition Mode” will be used instead).
Adjust volume automatically:
If this box is checked, then volume will be gradually adapted during each transition,
to make all tracks sound equally loud. See volume leveling.
