The track browser

When Ask the DJ is launched, your local volumes are searched for .mp3 and .m4a (AAC) files. The results are displayed in the track browser. The track browser shows track information such as title, artist, album, etc. Tracks can be sorted by any column.

To open the track browser, select “Open Track Browser” in the “Tracks” menu.
To sort tracks by a column, click on the title of that column.
To add a track from the browser to the play-list, double-click on that track in the browser.
To add several tracks from the browser to the play-list, select them in the browser and drop them onto the player window.

Note: If the track browser only displays a progress bar, then your volumes are still being searched for music.
